Creating a New News Model
LONDON, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- News is everywhere. It's on mobiles, on desktops, on laptops, and in the office elevator. But that doesn't mean we know more. A 2007 study by the Pew Research Center found, for example, that despite living in a 24-hour news cycle, Americans actually know less about current affairs than they did two decades earlier.
And it's precisely that disparity between glut of information and dearth of knowledge that The Periscope Post aims to reconcile.
The Periscope Post is an online news site that pulls together the most interesting commentary pieces from major international news outlets, blogs, and other sources, in short, lively articles.
